Plans & subscription pricing

Here's what ShopGuide actually costs and what you get at each tier — no rounding, no marketing math.

The plans

Pricing is based on monthly visitors to your store, not chat conversations, and billed monthly or yearly through Shopify.

Hire an Intern — $49.99/month ($499.90/year, 17% off — two months free). Up to 5,000 visitors/month. Includes the setup guide, the on-page AI agent, unlimited products, the full analytics dashboard, and email support. Fits small stores just getting started.

Hire an Employee — $199.99/month ($1,999.90/year, same 17% off). Up to 20,000 visitors/month. Everything in Intern, plus the ability to test your guide tool and priority chat support with our team. A fit for growing stores with steady traffic.

Hire a Manager — $499.99/month ($4,999.90/year, same discount). Up to 50,000 visitors/month. Everything in Employee, plus an AI visibility audit and 1-on-1 support. Built for high-volume stores.

Book a Call (Enterprise) — custom pricing, unlimited visitors. Covers a custom AI implementation, personal consultation, priority development, and dedicated support. Meant for very high-volume stores and agencies with specific requirements — book a call to talk through it.

Every public plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. There's no free trial on these — billing starts the moment your subscription does.

If your store is on a legacy, beta, or custom-negotiated plan, whatever your actual terms say takes precedence over anything listed here.

How the visitor limit is measured

Your limit is based on monthly visitor count, using the same bot-filtered session data Shopify Analytics shows you — not a raw pageview or conversation count. If Shopify session data isn't available yet for your store, ShopGuide falls back to its own visitor tracking instead. You can check current usage against your plan limit from the Pricing page in your dashboard.

If you're near or over your limit, chat keeps working — ShopGuide doesn't guarantee a hard cutoff, so check your specific plan's terms in the app if that distinction matters to you.

Changing your plan

From Pricing in your dashboard, compare visitor limits and features, toggle between monthly and yearly billing, and click the plan you want. Payment goes through Shopify's own secure app billing — you'll get a confirmation prompt there before anything's charged. Upgrading and downgrading both work the same way: pick the new plan, confirm through Shopify's prompt. To cancel outright, use Shopify's own subscription management.

Billing appears on your regular Shopify invoice, in whatever currency the plan is priced in (USD for public plans), on whatever cycle you chose.

A few common questions

Can you change plans anytime? Yes, through the Pricing page and Shopify's billing flow.

What happens if you go over your visitor limit? Check the Pricing page for your current usage, or reach out to support if you're unsure how it affects your store specifically.

Is there a free trial? Not on the public plans — just the 30-day money-back guarantee.
